Dr Xianglin (Joe) Lee
Xianglin has initially studied Chen Style Tai Chi under Grandmaster Kongjie Gou in China from 1984 to 1986, and until moving to Manchester in 2000 he
had been practising and teaching Tai Chi privately in a University in China. Since 1997. He has also received Tai Chi instructions directly from Grandmaster Chen
Zhenglei, the 19th generation inheritor of the Chen family and 11th generation direct-line successor of Chen Style Taijiquan. In addition to
his Tai Chi training with these skilful and experienced Tai Chi Grandmasters, he has also learned Ba Gua Zhuang , Taoist Qigong etc. with
masters from the monastery of Nanyue Mountain, and Zhangjiajie Forest Park China when he was in his degree studies in China.
Xianglin has set up his Tai Chi For Life School (Previously Tai Chi Benefits School) in 2006 in Manchester to run many Tai Chi
classes in North West region to promote Tai Chi to benefit many. He has also run classes successfully for different organizations such as Age UK
Cheshire East, Manchester Chinese Health and Information Centre etc for the past decade. After the outbreak of the COVID-19, he has shut down all
his physical addresses classes but teach Tai Chi Online for both himself and cooperated organizations such as MoveGB.
